Very cool aesthetics, but I've found myself frustrated by the fact that holding Z builds charge if I'm not moving but costs charge if I am. It's unintuitive.
Edit: I got much better at this when I did local multiplayer; having an opponent who can die and isn't already broadly competent helps a lot. An update to the training mode might be nice there.
this goes hard with Sonic Frontiers' boss music if done right. AWESOME, but I recommend Break through it all or Undefeatable. Both are really good and it just hits differently when it syncs with the end of the fight.
It's a super fun game I absolutely love it, but sometimes the character does stuff independently, which leads to a Game Over. But other than that everything else is super smooth and fun
Not to sound too knew but is there a reason I cant download the pico-8 cart for the game? I already paid for it but would love to check out the code and assets a little more in depth. Besides that love this game so much and purchased it in a heartbeat.

i got 180 lol. Best way to beat the game is to hold z and spam x.

The way I do it is by blocking (press the arrow away from your attacker) and then tapping the charge button to dash away.

overall great no amazing game but something you can add would be if you could choose modes instead of PVP or arcade. but all in all nice
modes are nice but what i think they should add ids mods like a yumihustle situation it would be amazing

I have found a bug: If you play single player and after that you play multiplayer, the game crash

Bug : the player 2 controls are a bit inverted and incorrect the "S" key for example dosen't go down instead does a heavy attack . :)
In PICO-8 ASDW is not used, SFED is the control for player 2. S would go left, not down

Great game. Never seen anyone pull of this feeling in game form (besides maybe Lethal League).
My main issue is that I find it's too easy to stunlock people by gaining a lot of momentum and holding x.
